Brief Description: Electrical and fuel system fitting
I started today by fabricating and connecting the cable from the battery positive terminal to the hot battery buss. Then I installed the firewall shield where hot battery buss cable passes through the firewall. Next I replaced the AN3 bolts I used to secure the firewall pass through fittings I fabricated for the fuel and engine manifold pressure system with AN3 bolts with drilled heads so I could lock wire the bolts for safetying. Then I fabricated the fuel line that runs from the gascolator to the firewall fitting and then to the fuel flow transducer. Finally I fitted the forward cabin cover to see what accommodation was required for the engine control cables I had installed the previous day. Four areas had to have holes or slot cut to allow control cable routing. While the forward cabin cover was installed I also finalized the fuel system tubing exiting the fuel flow transducer and connecting to the firewall pass through fitting.
